Pablo's 22nd Surprise Birthday

This year Jess, Stacee's boyfriend Nikko and I organised a surprise birthday celebration this year for my good friends Stacee and Kaecee.

The plan turned out to be perfect because the two weren't going to celebrate it together this year as their plans continuously clashed with each others. Though it was a little disappointing that not many people turned up from the invite list we made up. Even when everyone know the importance of this day. Just goes to show who your true friends are right?


We reserved a section at Docks Bar, curtesy of Jess' friend who works there. It didn't turn out to be as planned, having the girls arrive at the same time so Kaecee was  the first one to be surprised. We knew she was angry when she got there because they ended up having dinner at Maccas, which we all know it's not what you would want to eat for your birthday haha. Stacee didn't come until a few minutes after. Both of them covered with their blazer/hands.

They were definitely surprised that they were together with friends, family and most importantly with each other.

There, we had a few drinks for a couple of hours. Some went off to have dinner, including Kaecee and her fiance John (their original plan) haha. Afterwards, we made our way to the other side of the harbour to Pontoon where a few more people came. As always, we stayed there until the club closed, just so we got out nights worth.

I'm sure everyone had a fun time, especially the twins.

Australia Day 2012

Since Australia Day this year was on a Thursday, Jeremy and our mum had work so when they got back, we started our family BBQ late in the afternoon, so we kind of had a late lunch and early dinner.

This year we had quite a few to cook, I thought so anyway but we ended up finishing everything by the end of the night and just enough for me to bring some for work.

Too bad the weather ruined everything though and the fact that Australia Day didn't fall on a weekend this year. It would've been our 3rd year in a row going to the beach to celebrate, something I wanted to keep doing and make it a tradition.

It was a nice and relaxing day off with family, bbq and casual drinks though. Can't complain.

Marc's 5th Birthday

Yesterday we went to a kids playground that was just the next suburb over, that I didn't know anything about until now, for Jeremy's nephew Marc's 5th Birthday. It was nothing major, it was just us and the kids so they could have fun and play around. Us adults just sat while drinking our mocha's, eating hot chips and taking photos. Jeremy and his brother-in-law were playing though, especially Jeremy.. trying to sneak on the jumping castles haha.

It was such a good location. It wasn't as busy as it would be in any other play centres. Those that are local, the place is called "Kidz Fun Factory" and is based in Minchinbury. We're actually considering to have Jaiden's birthday party there this year (still quite a while to go). The entry we paid was only $8/ea and you only have to pay for the kids! 


Afterwards, we went to Lone Pine Tavern to have lunch. We were all so full, we couldn't walk and we just wanted to sleep lol. Then came back home for some dessert (I bought ice blocks) and just chilled. Most of us ended up having the nap that we wanted.

haircut/catch up

During the day, we quickly made a trip to the shops so I could purchase some new clothes for work. But couldn't find any bottoms and dresses that would fit me. The biggest downside to being so skinny :(

So we just went home. Just in time for our BIL to come back and give Jaiden a haircut. Jeremy had to sit down with him and hold the iPhone that played Yo Gabba Gabba to help him calm down. My mother and my cousin quickly came by afterwards to visit Jaiden.

As soon as they left, my friends Jess and Stacee came over to kill time while waiting for Kaecee so we could have a catch up. But since we all had to go elsewhere at a certain time, we just went to Starbucks for a little hangout and quickly stopped by Kaecee's house afterwards.
