All worth it

For the past 3 weeks and for another 3 weeks, I have been and continue to work hard. I've been going into work at 7:30am or either don't leave work until 6pm, having lunch at my desk and only having a couple of toilet breaks.

On the weekend Jeremy and I were on the hunt for a Buzz Light Year toy for Jaiden but the stores we looked at, at the mall we were at only had Jessie and Woody. So tonight after work, Jeremy and I looked at our local K-mart before going home and viola! We found one!

At first I gave Jaiden the empty box it came in and he started to cry and sook because all he found inside was the manuel and a picture of Buzz on the back. Then I pulled out of my bag and he had the biggest shocked face and smile. The look on Jaiden's face was priceless. I wanted to cry. He was so happy.

Today assured me of the purposes of all this hard work I was doing. It doesn't matter if I don't get rewarded for this (okay, maybe a little), but the best reward of all - is to see my family happy.

Quick Park Play

Today we didn't plan to go anywhere far so we just settled for our local park, since Jeremy wanted to get home by 2pm so he could watch the boxing game that was playing.

Also, I received a phone call from the Jeweller advising me that my order for the twins birthday presents had arrived and were ready to be picked up. So we did just that before heading back home.

Then later in the afternoon, Jess and I met up at Kaecee's house to give her present. She loved it, her face and verbal expressions were priceless to see and hear haha.

Samantha & Roden's Engagement

Yesterday was my cousin Roden and his now fiance Samantha's Engagement Party.

The turn was a lot bigger than I expected. But then again being young, you would know a lot of people. It was good to see my little cousins again, it seems like forever since I hadn't seen them. Even though I just saw them 2 weeks ago.

Jaiden was having the time of his life running around and playing with the other kids. He was so amused when the singers, guitarists and drummers did their own thing. He was so eager to go up on stage with them and play with the guitars haha.

Jeremy and I didn't stay until the end since we were both tired. Luckily the venue was only 15 minutes away from us.

A big Congratulations to Roden and Samantha! We love you guys!

I can't wait for the wedding day. I finally have somewhere to attend to that requires you to dress up!
