Five years together, celebrated in Melbourne; four days, 3 nights.
Filled with breakfast, lunch and dinners in lane-way cafes, restaurants and Markets cafes. Trying something new; Jeremy ate Crocodile for dinner one night =| and we had coffee that was of citric and flowers flavour.
Cocktails indulged in restaurants and Crown Casino.
Shopping at the infamous destinations; Chadstone (which is my head office), Chapel Street, South Wharf DFO and CBD.
Our Melbourne trip in photos.

Engaged!
Four years and a toddler later, we are finally engaged!
Jeremy proposed to me on our 4 years anniversary celebration back in April (post found here).
For the whole 1-2 weeks leading up to our anniversary, he hinted me that my present was something that I've always wanted, was electrical and measured his arms out to about 30cm. So I automatically thought it was a coffee machine haha.
Just before digging into our dinner, we decided to exchange gifts first before getting dirty with the ribs we got.
Jeremy wanted to go first, so he told me to sit at the edge of the bed while he fetches his present. I thought nothing of it, just that it was weird telling me to sit at the edge of the bed when it's just a coffee machine LOL.
Shouts to close my eyes.
He comes out, tells me to open my eyes.
I opened my eyes and he was on one knee with the ring box in my face.
I didn't know what to say/do. I froze for a good minute, though it felt like five.
He says "Angel Sombrino, will you marry me?".
Of course, I say yes.
I lay back on the bed and cry. lol.
Jeremy: "wait, come back up. I have to give you the ring". haha
Me: "Now I don't want to give you my present, yours shits on mine big time". lol but he still loved my present.
Though I didn't get to wear the ring straight away. The day after our anniversary celebration, we went to the jewellers to get my ring re-sized, because of my tiny fingers and it took a whole month to get it back.
Props to Jeremy for choosing this ring! It's beautiful and I love it so much! I had only tried on one ring with him and it wasn't even similar to this one. He definitely did great and knows me, for sure.
We don't have a set year for the wedding yet because we're not planning on getting married until a few more years. But I'm still looking around and keeping tabs on the things I want/like so when the year comes, I know what I want to do instead of having the feeling of being rushed and having "so little time".
How does it feel like being engaged? We feel like we're a little closer as a couple, it felt like we were on a little honeymoon phase and of course, exciting just thinking about planning the wedding and what's to come.
I can't wait for the upcoming years, we have so much to look forward to!
Another milestone we made together.

Four years of LOVE
On April 9, Jeremy and I reached our four years of being together and celebrated on April 13.
We started the day off by having breakfast as a family together and then dropped Jaiden to my mums. Made our way to the city and was 2 hours earlier than our estimated check-in time. So we checked-in and since our room wasn't yet ready, we just walked around CBD. Took a quick look around at Tiffany and Co. and had a quick feed at Pitt St. Westfields before making our way to Circular Quay for our Harbour Bridge climb.
Considering I am absolutely terrified heights, the thought of climbing the bridge didn't hit me, even when I had a good 2/3 weeks of knowing about it, even when we started climbing. But as soon as I saw water below my feet, I started shitting it. I grabbed on the railings on both sides of me, walked like an old woman, one step at a time, two feet on one step on the stairs. If I i couldn't get hold of a railing on either side of me, I'd immediately think I would fall and start to panic. Lucky Jeremy and I were the last two people of the group because I certainly would have delayed everyone behind us.
There was one moment when we were walking down the stairs when we were finishing up, and since I was so slow, Jeremy ended up nudging me forward and I froze for what felt like 5 minutes and had a mini heart attack and even nearly cried. And yes, I honestly thought I was going to fall forward lol.
My favourite part of the climb was when we reached the top and stayed for a few minutes just overlooking the whole of Sydney. It was so beautiful and I was able to spend that moment with Jeremy :) Despite I thought I nearly died, it was an amazing thing to experience! Highly recommended to be done, if you're ever in Sydney!
When we finished, we made a little grocery run and made our way to our hotel room. When we got in, I was so in love. We had a foyer with champagne waiting for us, the bathroom was like a walk in wardrobe and the room was massive. So, we cancelled our dinner reservations and walked down the road from our hotel and got take-away Tony Roma's and pigged out in our hotel room. Took advantage of our spa and spent the whole night there.
The next morning, we helped ourselves to a buffet breakfast before packing up. After checking out, we had a little stroll to The Star and got ourselves some Adriano Zumbo goodies. I loved the food court at The Star! Afterwards, we made our way back home to our Jaiden.

red-letter day
On Friday, Jeremy and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary by having a little getaway to ourselves and stayed at Quay Grand Suites Sydney, located in Circular Quay.
After dropping off Jaiden to my mums in the morning and being early for check-in, Jeremy and I decided to just walk around while we kill time for our lunch and/or when the hotel calls us to tell us when our room was ready. We started off at the Opera house side and slowly made our way to the other side (The Rocks) where our departure point was, with countless stop offs to take photos, sit down and get a snack. While we were waiting, we saw a wedding pictorial happening, which we thought was nice and cute because of the scenery being perfect for photos, especially for a wedding.

Our boat finally arrived and was not what we were expecting. To my surprise, it was a more of a sailing boat (Jeremy even called it a 'Pirate boat' lol) than one where you sit down and dine in, which is what I thought it was. So wearing heels was a bad idea because of the surfaces being uneven which I was prone to having a fall any given time. though I ended up taking them off while on the ship so I could walk up and down the boat and be mobile a lot easier. We had unlimited drinks, so I had white wine which I didn't drink a lot of, I guess I just didn't like what they served? Jeremy had beers but didn't have much either because he was feeling a little sea sick lol but we did have a few rounds of just juice haha. The lunch being served was a bbq, which was served in the bottom level of the boat. We cruised around Rose Bay and in & out of the harbour. It was a nice, relaxed and very chilled cruise and lunch.
Afterwards, we made our way to our hotel room which we absolutely loved! I was so in love with the place as soon as I opened the door! Before getting too comfortable though, we quickly went to the convenience store to get a few items; milk, cans of mother and canned food for dinner. Got back to the hotel, put our shopping down and quickly ducked out to the hotel's pool. It was so beautiful! We were so disappointed that neither of us thought of bringing any swimming clothes to use the Hotel's recreations.
Once we got back to our room, we got the spa going and the drinks started. The spa was amazing and was so relaxing. we stayed in there for hours until we were hungry for dinner. Jeremy was happy with his canned food but I didn't like mine, so after Jeremy had finished, we made our way downstairs to the restaurants along the wharf. Though we weren't really bothered to go anywhere and just wanted to crash for the night, but it was only 7:30pm haha. So we walked around first and took photos before settling for Guylians Chocolate for a snack, I finally tried it! We had waffles w/ ice cream and 'African chocolate' which is 70% chocolate.. it was so yummy and I loved their waffles! It melted in my mouth. Since I didn't want to have anything there as a main, we just went back up and I ordered room service spaghetti. I was so surprised at how fast they delivered my food! and it was so yummm!! I loved how the spaghetti was cooked, it was perfect! We went back into the spa after I digested, received a nice full body massage from Jeremy and crashed out at around 12am.
We got up to clean a little and get ready for check out at around 9am even though neither of us wanted to leave, especially so early in the morning, we much rather wanted to just stay in bed haha. We ended up being ready before our check-out time so we called the front desk to pick our stuff up and put it in the car while we went down to the Quay to get some breakfast. We just settled to buying Hungry Jacks breakfast, which was still good enough for the both us.. anything was for me really, as long as I got my morning coffee lol. I was surprised at how packed the Quay already was at 10:30am.
We then headed back to the hotel to check out and wait for our car to be at the front. It was very ironic how our car was very dirty/messy and not so flashy being valeted and out front was a Bentley waiting for the owners haha it was a funny thought though. We then made our way back home and being half way through, I then remembered about The Rocks and Glebe Markets being on and I was so disappointed at how I just completely forgot about it! I guess that's what happens when you're just so relaxed, nothing thinking about... anything really.
It was such a great getaway for the both of us. We're planning to do this again on special occasions. I wish we didn't have to leave though.. I loved that place and I wish we lived there :( lol.
To finish things off, I just wanted to say;
