Jaiden turns 3

I can't believe this time of the year has already come! It just creeps up without even realising it!
My little Jaiden is now 3 years old. When did this even happen?

We celebrated with close family and friends at the park. The night before was pouring down rain, but thank the lord the day actually turned out hotter than we expected it to be.

The usual/traditional BBQ, garden salad & Filipino noodles together with fruit salad, leche, fairy bread were served. And topped with amazing cupcakes & cake made by my girlfriend Megan - she did an amazing job with the cake! Just like the photo I gave as a guide.

Jaiden enjoyed his day, being surrounded with people he knew and loved. Playing with kids and his uncles he hadn't seen in a while. And most of all, getting so many presents he didn't know what to play with first.

50th / Ethan's Christening

Update post: First week of November 2012

Saturday night we had my Family friend's 50th birthday party (who is like a second mother to me).
It was a great gathering, surrounded by close family and friends of hers. I hope to have a 50th celebration like she did. She definitely deserved every single bit of the night. She also celebrated her Silver (25th) Wedding anniversary with her husband.

So the night was full of celebrating and love.

On Sunday day, we had our friends Megan & Allen's second baby's Christening day for Ethan Noah.
It was good to see a few familiar faces, Jaiden seeing his toddler friends Aiden & Kiara and to finally meet the little man, Ethan himself!

The food was great, from having both cultures come together (Indonesian & Filipino) and the dessert was just perfect. Props to Megan for making the whole dessert table!
